Using please, thank you, you welcome, my pleasure, holding a door, picking up trash, and so many others are examples we can set. 👉 Demonstrating these forms of respect are admired in just about any social setting. 4. TEACH YOUR CHILD PROBLEM SOLVING. Help your child work through their challenges instead of solving them for them. It is important to note that as a parent it’s your job to guide them, but not do it for them. Ask them questions such as "What would you do in this situation?". Let them work through the answer. If they say I Don't Know... ask them "If you did know what would you do?".
Sometimes when they face difficult situation, it can be a great opportunity for them to develop self discipline and competence. Encourage your child in the right direction, but let them be the ones to find the solution. Guide and support them until the solution is found, then praise them for working THROUGH the struggle! Remiind them that problem solving is a super power :) 👉 This helps them form the “I Can” attitude which is a big step towards personal belief.
